SIVA is recently created society specifically dedicated to artificial ventilation.  This society is intended to create a link among the world leaders in mechanical ventilation. 

Mission

Our mission is to diffuse artificial ventilation in critical care and to offer professionnal support to clinicians with special interests in mechanical ventilation.  SIVA aims to ralley knowledge, the knowhow in artificial ventilation:

• By offering professionnal quality continued education
• By favouring transfert of information (protocols, articles,..)
• Encouraging research in critical care
• By participating at various continued education at various universities world wide
  

Mandate

Our mandate is to promote developpement of artificial ventilation, to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, promote and participate in conference concensus and/or specific recommendations in mechanical ventilation and through its activities, facilitate exchanges among clinicians with special interests in mechanical ventilation.
